Rapid Development and Native Code Compilation for Multiplatform UIs
The well known Delphi Object Pascal and C++Builder programming languages have evolved over the time to design and develop powerful applications, using true native code compilation for optimum performance, while enabling code and design reuse across multiple platforms.
The advanced multi-platform UI framework FireMonkey enables you to quickly build applications for Android, either with native or styled controls. With a few clicks you can change the look and feel of your app.
The powerful user interface designer gives you a tool in your hands, to take your idea from prototype to finished product and let you focus on what really matters – designing beautiful apps with functionality using true native code compilation.
In this presentation, I will illustrate how Android Developers can create rapid multiplatform prototypes using RAD Studio and FireMonkey.
Glenn Dufke is an independent software and electronics engineer who owns the consultancy company GlennKonnekt.
He has been developing software and electronics since his early teens and gathered over 18 years of programming knowledge, primarily with the Embarcadero Delphi development environment, enabling rapid development of prototypes and advanced products across multiple platforms with a high degree of code reuse.
Currently he spends time modernizing exiting Delphi applications and move them to multi-platform solutions using the FireMonkey framework adding more value for customers.
