Painless Flutter Embedding in Your Existing App

Rémon Helmond
Flutter App Developer at Philips Hue

Flutter was officially launched in December 2018 and since then rapidly gained popularity. Some companies decided to totally rewrite their apps in this framework but since version 1.12 there is also a less risky way to get started. In this talk I will discuss the Flutter “add to app” approach and show how to embed a standalone Flutter module into your existing Android app. Furthermore I will talk about the benefits and limitations of the add to app approach and reveal some gotcha’s that hopefully will make your Flutter embedding painless.

Effective App Architecture and State Management in Flutter

Salih Guler
Senior Mobile Engineer at Klar

From the day that Flutter is announced, a lot of companies decided to use it in their production environments. Most of these companies have used it for projects from scratch and as we all know, deciding on an architecture for a brand new application is quite hard. Luckily, Flutter has a lot of great alternative approaches that can be used according to the suitable use-case.

In this talk, we are going to go over the Flutter's State Management options, how we can use them and last but not least we will learn how we can put all of this information to create the best architecture for our application.
